Christopher Vane-Tempest is Chairman of the Vane-Tempest Family Office and sits on the Investment Board. He is responsible for overseeing the deployment of the family’s capital.
He is also Managing Partner of Vane-Tempest Private Office LLP, Co-Founder and Non-Executive Chairman of Towergate Estates, and serves as a Trustee on a number of other family companies.
Previously, Christopher was a Partner and Director of Private Clients at Newcore Capital Management LLP, where he was responsible for capital raising and fund structuring. He continues to hold a position as Non-Executive Director for two of the company’s real estate funds.
Prior to Newcore Capital Management, Christopher was an Associate Director at Egan Property Asset Management where he oversaw investor relations, fundraising, asset management and debt and syndicate structuring for £700 million worth of investments, including £350 million in syndicated interests.
Christopher is a Chartered Surveyor with two decades of experience in the property arena and is FCA approved.
Alexandra is a partner in Vane-Tempest Private Office and sits on the investment board. She has over 14 years’ financial modelling experience. Having qualified from the L’Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland with Honours, Alexandra worked for several years for an international hotel group, latterly responsible for revenue management.
Lee is Managing Director of a West End and Manchester commercial law firm. Lee has been the Vane-Tempest Family Office’s lawyer for a number of years, advising on all of our commercial activities and investments. Having worked for some 25 years as a commercial lawyer, Lee has a wealth of experience and is ideally placed to consider and assess our potential investment opportunities. In particular, Lee has an innate ability quickly and effectively to gauge the risk/reward of each potential investment and provide a comprehensive and reasoned evaluation and recommendation.
Richard has been advising the Vane-Tempest Family Office for over 10 years, bringing with him a wealth of property experience. As partner of Blick Rothenberg, Accountants, Richard has provided West End and International clients with corporate and tax structuring solutions for over 15 years, with particular focus on property investment and development. Richard’s range of property clients extends from regional developers to London institutions providing him with the relevant experience to provide invaluable financial analysis to Vane-Tempest Family Office. Richard’s property experience coupled with his investment fund reporting knowledge mean he is a trusted advisor to the Vane-Tempest family.
Charles Horner is an advisor to the Vane-Tempest Family. Charles has extensive experience in the construction industry and an impressive record of success. He is an innovative strategist and prides himself on transforming operations, improving commercial performance, establishing strong and effective teams and creating productive relationships based on trust and respect.
Charles was previously the Southern Regional Contracts Manager for Home Group, one of the largest providers of new homes and affordable housing in the UK, with a turnover of more than £360 million. Before that, he was Head of Commercial for house builder, Cavanna Group, Chief Quantity Surveyor for Redrow Plc and Director at Westbuild Solutions.
Charles is also a Co-Founder and the Operations Director of Towergate Estates.
Charles has a BTEC National Diploma in Business Studies, a BTEC National Certificate in Building Studies, a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Building Studies, a BTEC Higher Certificate of Achievement in Construction Law and Economics of the Construction Industry and a Certificate of Competence in IT and Surveying from the Chartered Institute of Building.
Martina has worked for the Vane-Tempest family for almost a decade and is responsible for the bookkeeping and back-office management.
She is involved in the financial modelling of the development projects and is currently studying for her ACCA.
